The Temple Walls of Division were The Court of the Priests, The Court of the Israelites, The Court of Women and the Court of the Gentiles
The temple building represented God's presence for His chosen people, the Israelites and within its enclosures were walls of divisions between the Court of Israel which consisted of all male Israelites who were not priests; the Court of the Priests included Levites in general, as the Priesthood was of the tribe of Levi; and there was the Court of Women (Israelite). The Court of the Gentiles was located outside of the Sacred Enclosure Wall that insulated the Temple. The Priests posted signs prohibiting Gentiles from entering into the sacred enclosure, they were keep outside the walls. The sign above which was found on a temple wall read “No man of another nation to enter within the fence and enclosure round the temple. And whoever is caught will have himself to blame that his death ensures.” This is the wall of division or hostility that Paul speaks of being torn down by Jesus.
God chose Abraham to spearhead what would become His own special possession, the nation of Israel. Abraham was the father of Isaac and Isaac was the father of Jacob. God changed Jacob's name to Israel and his twelve sons were the root of what would become the nation of Israel, the Israelites. His purpose for selecting and separating a group of people that He could call His own was simple, He wanted to create a people that Imaged Him. When Elohim observed all of humanity no one took on His Image. Elohim wanted a group of people that Imaged Himself. This has always been His purpose since forming mankind in the Garden - He declared "Let us make man in our Image, male and female He created them". The fall had rendered all humanity sinful and sin separated them from God. Elohim did not choose Israel because she was perfect but He cleaned her up and made her His people. A Holy nation, separated from the pagan Gentiles that surrounded her. This was not His original purpose as we see in Ephesians 3 when Paul speaks of the mystery of Christ which "in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit of His holy apostles and prophets: that the Gentiles "should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel" (Ephesians 3:5-6)
This is part of the mystery Paul speaks of in Ephesians that had been hidden from mankind for millennium and finally revealed through Christ; that Jesus's life and death He tore down the walls of division and created out of the two groups one, in the process creating a "new man" a man that had never existed before, this "new man" would image Him in unity, love, one spirit, one Lord, one Body, and declare to the heavenly powers that this collective of believers truly represent and image Jesus, their Lord and Savior, their Bridegroom and King. It's a "bold call" but Jesus is mandating breaking down the walls that man have built in places where He tore them down: thus this ministry as Jesus had commanded is no respecter of persons, there is neither male or female, Jew or Gentile, slave nor free, rich nor poor. A body of Christ without walls, the walls have wheels and we must move them. It's simple, just as God looked down on the ancient peoples and did not recognize Himself in their lifestyle and beliefs, so Jesus is looking at modern believers that say they are connected to Him but do not image Him at all. Jesus is waiting for His Bride without spot or wrinkle!
Breaking Free Ministries will host classes designed to re-educate God's people in order to break down the walls that have divided the Body of Christ: Classism, Racism,
